Retirement tax questions
When you enter the Form 1099-R representing the distribution from the account that was converted to a Roth, the follow-up questions let you indicate that the money was converted to a Roth account.
That is the only thing you need to do to report the conversion. You will not enter any information in the IRA contributions section.
