The RMD questions come up after you enter your 1099-R form.
Open your return
- Go to Federal
- Go to Wages and Income
- Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security.
- Select IRA, 401k, Pension Plan withdrawal (1099-R).
- Select Edit next to the 1099-R form
- Continue to the Screen Required Minimum Distributions.
