Retirement tax questions
To clarify, different versions of TurboTax sometimes have input screens that are a little different from one another, but the inputs should all be treated the same no matter the version so that the same result is reached on the tax return.
Taking another look at your token file and focusing on the 1099-R forms with a number in box 5, I noticed that your (taxpayer) 1099-R is marked as a CSA 1099-R, but the spouse 1099-R is not. Are they both the same or is only one CSA 1099-R?
I was certain that I saw the follow-up question when going through both 1099-R entries earlier, which asked about box 5 insurance premiums. Now, I am on the same page as you seeing that the question only comes up for the taxpayer entry and not the spouse. So I'm still trying to get to the bottom of it.
