Retirement tax questions
Follow these steps:
- Go back to the personal information section and delete his birthday.
- Clear cache and cookies
- Open the program and enter his birthday again
I opened the GA return and it popped right up. It appears with an edit button under Here's the income that Georgia handles differently. The program was not picking up his birthday accurately. The Georgia retirement exclusion is a tax break you can get when you are either 62 or older or can't work because you are permanently disabled.
