I have the exact problem. I as on the phone chat with Turbo tax help twice for an hour each time. She contact a supervisor and another higher level “expert”. They could not resolve or work around the issue. I suspect there are thousands of retired military who have the same problem. TURBO TAX needs to fix this programming glitch.
By the way, I asked for and received a refund of $199 and I will be going to a tax preparer for the first time in my life and using Turbo tax for over 20 years.
