Retirement tax questions
I just completed my 2024 tax return using Turbotax and I notice that my SSA benefits ae not taxed in the U.S. because I live in Germany and file a German tax return. In past years I do not recall Turbotax asking me where I lived and my SSA benefits were always taxed in the U.S. Do I now have to file ammended returns to get higher refunds for all the past years my SSA was taxed in the U.S.?
