I am using TTAX Deluxe Desktop version and working on a manually entered 1099-R for an inherited annuity contract. I took the full 2024 RMD for this account and entered this information in the 1099-R screens as required. However, a final screen is appearing that is saying that it looks like the difference between the RMD and what I actually took out is equal to the entire RMD amount???
I tried deleting the entire record and entering the 1099-R again but am having the same issue. It looks like at least one other user reported a similar issue but I'm not seeing that the solution has been identified.
