Yes, you can file now with your original SSA-1099, with the realization that you will have to file an amended return when the corrected SSA-1099 arrives.

 

NOTE: you may not want to spend your whole refund, if the amended return will cause you to owe tax. Remember that the processing of the original return and of the amended return are totally separate, so you could get a large refund on the original return and have to pay some of it back on the amended return.

 

Of course, since we in the Community cannot see your private tax data, your situation may vary.
