inheritance outside the USA
Hi all.
I'm a dual citizen (US/Israel) - I work and live in California for past 10~ years.
At some point I'm expecting to receive some inheritance money from the sell of property in Israel (don't know how much - not sure property market value and the splits % across kids/grandkids... ), and that will be deposit in my half-sleep Israeli bank account...
When that happens, what exactly do I need to declare? Is there a "foreign inheritance" tax form or something like that?
Every year on my tax report I notify i do have a bank account outside the US, but it never held more than 10k$ (actually, it's costing me ~1.5$ a month to keep it open...)
thanks in advance!
