Retirement tax questions

Kansas exempts Federal retirement, Military retirement, Railroad Retirement Board benefits, and KPERS and Kansas public pensions, but  not out of state public pensions, private pensions or 401(k) & IRA income.  Since your pension is not a qualified Kansas  public pension, you should select "None of the above".  You will have to pay Kansas state income tax on  your Missouri retirement benefits.
