Rollover Roth 401k to Roth IRA
In 2024 I rolled over the balance of my Roth 401k to my Roth IRA. I am 70, retired two years ago. I opened my Roth IRA in 2016. I have carefully attempted to complete the Turbo Tax 1099-R entries for this Rollover. The 1099-R Dist. code (box 7) is G - Rollover and Employer Contributions. TTax wants to tax this Roth 401k to Roth IRA Rollover. This is a non-taxable event.
The 1099-R does not show my contributions. But what does that matter since the account is over 5 years old and I am over 70?
Where did I make an entry mistake?
