I just realize my CA refund, which I just received, it is short for exactly interest income that I reported. I scanned all documents and review carefully. On my federal form it shows under interest income, but on state return, it add same amount to Line 71 (tax withheld) and increased my tax withheld for that amount. Did someone had similar error? Normally when I am done with Federal it just transfer all information correctly to state form and never had any issues before.
