Retirement tax questions
You do have to report the SSA income- add it together to enter in TurboTax. This is Income in respect to a decedent. It is income the decedent would have received but for the death. It is included on the tax return of the beneficiary or person who received the income if there is no estate, and the beneficiary report the income on their tax return and pays the tax. See Income in Respect of a Decedent. @wwitt
