Retirement tax questions
If you receive a 1099-R to report your Pension Payments, when you enter it into TurboTax, indicate that 'all of the distribution is RMD'. When TurboTax asks on the next screen, 'What is the RMD amount' enter the total amount shown in Box 1 of your 1099-R.
The Plan Administrator determines what your RMD should be, and if they have not changed the amount you receive, then all of your payment is RMD.
