If you have other income, you have to report your form SSA-1099 on your tax return.
In TurboTax Online, you can enter your form SSA-1099 by following these steps:
- Open your tax return
- Click on the down arrow on the right of Federal in the left-hand column, then on Wages & Income
- Locate the section Retirement Plans and Social Security and click on the right arrow on the right
- Click Start next to Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099).
