I have a 1099-B that indicates Net Proceeds reported to IRS. It has 2 line items (box 1A list them as Units Sold 100 and Units Sold 30) with no date in Column 1B and no amount in Column 1e. The form indicates both line items are Noncovered Securities. I have access to the acquisition date and cost basis on my quarterly statements provided by Computershare. Can I use the quarterly statements and 1099-B to enter the line items individually on Desktop Turbo Tax? One line for Long Term Noncovered (with same acquisition date) and one for Short Term Noncovered (with same acquisition date) and a third line item for Long Term Noncovered with an older acquisition date. Will I be required to send in any additional documentation?
