Yes, if you are seeing an entry that is not on your copy of Form 1099-G, you need to go back and correct the amount that you entered before. 

 

Here's how to do that in TurboTax Online:

 

 

  1. Sign in to TurboTax.
  2. Select Income and Pick up where I left off.
  3. Select the down arrow to the right of Other Common Income.
  4. Select Start to the right of Other 1099-G Income.
  5. Answer the first question Yes.
  6. Enter the information from your 1099-G.
  7. Continue until you get to Tell Us About Your Government Payment.
  8. Change your entry for box 9, at the bottom. Leave it blank, don't enter $0.
