Retirement tax questions
If you received distributions in the past then you will have to add them up and enter them for "Total Distributions Received in Previous Years".
Massachusetts doesn't allow the deduction of contribution to the traditional IRA like the IRS does on the federal return. Therefore, you will need to enter your total traditional IRA contributions and any distributions you took on the "Taxable IRA/Keogh Distributions" screen.
