Selecting MA in box 15 of 1099R for MA pension doesn't prevent MA taxes from being assessed
Yes, I input MA in box 15 as you suggest, but it doesn't do anything. When I input the MA pension income in Box 1, the "MA Tax Due" box drops to a negative number (i.e. it's taxing the income). Yet, box 14 on the 1099R says "NON-TAXABLE". So if it's Non-taxable for state income, why is Turbotax taxing me in my state taxes.
