Thanks for the reply. Turbotax says you can use a year end statement (which I have). But they give no instructions on where to enter. I believe that 1099R is only necessary when there is a distribution. There was no distribution. The IRS is very clear that I have to put this on the tax form even though there is nothing to tax.
