I don't know whether you posted it twice, or there was some sort of hiccup in the forum software.
Hopefully someone will answer the unanswered post. Basically the answer would be to go back to where you entered the contribution and remove it. But a voluntary contribution would be on a state tax return, not federal. For anyone to give you a more precise answer they would have to know what state it is. Every state is different. Go back to the unanswered post and edit the question to say what state it is. Click the three dots in the top right corner of the question, then click Edit Message.
