Retirement tax questions

Hi, @Debbie0907 , thanks for the questions! My apologies though, as I can only answer your second question. Your first question is a Social Security question, not a tax question. That being said, you may find this article from the SSA helpful.

"What is the max AGI when on SS?" Well, there is no "max AGI", so I assume you're asking how much other income without your Social Security being taxable? The answer is that your MAGI can't be more than $25,000 for all filing statuses except Married Filing Jointly, which is $32,000. Your MAGI is defined as half of your Social Security benefits, plus 100% of your other income.

Hope this helps, please let me know if this raises additional questions!
