Retirement tax questions
Hi Bill,
I finally was able to e-file my returns but the IRS rejected them because they say that my 2021 AGI reported on the 2022 e-filing did not agree with the AGI on the 2021 return.
I checked the 2021 AGI again and the AGI I reported is accurate. I e-filed the return again and it was rejected again. I then requested the IRS to provide me the transcript of my 2021 tax return and the AGI I reported in the e-filing matches the AGI in the transcript.
Any suggestions on how to e-file my return or to fix this issue? Can I call the IRS and see if they can help with this or should I just file a paper return.
Thanks
