Does a direct rollover from a 401(k) to open a Traditional IRA count as a contribution?

My former employer had me transfer my 401(k) to a Traditional IRA, which I did via a direct rollover. I received the check in the mail, brought it to my financial institution, and opened a Traditional IRA with it. Does this count as "making a contribution" as far as TurboTax is concerned? Do I have to enter it into TurboTax for purposes of reporting to the IRS? I can't find a 1099-R among my paperwork, but I have the year-end statement for the account.
