The first time was in 2020. The same thing happened. After I efiled IRS sent a letter asking for a printed copy of the 1099R, which delayed my refund a little over a month. This year that occurred again, and I am still waiting on my refund (going on two months). I filed my return exactly the same way in 2022, and had my refund before February 1st. My taxes are very simple - I use the short form. I just logged in and checked, the amount entered from the 1099R was the correct amount. This is very frustrating, since I have a large refund and depend on it in retirement. It does not make me happy about using turbotax! I definitely will not use it again!
