Yes, you can change your payment method in the File section of TurboTax.
- Sign in to your account and open your return. If it has been rejected for e-file, click Fix my return to open it.
- Select File on the left side.
- When you get to Here are your e-filing options, select Change.
- On the next screen select File by mail.
- Continue until you get to How do you want to pay your state taxes?
- Select I will mail a check and continue through the remaining screens to print the return. If a payment voucher is required in your state, there will be one in the print packet. If you don't see the voucher, check the state instruction sheet for the address.
