Retirement tax questions
It doesn't. Roth IRA are not eligible for a tax break up front. The difference between the two are:
- Roth, no tax break up front but grows tax free going forward - at least until the gov't changes the law
- Trad IRA, tax break upfront but then must pay taxes when withdrawn.
