By "disability" retirement, I mean a disability retirement. No, I am not receiving any SSA income. I was deemed disabled from performing my previous duties for the federal government and was placed on a disability retirement. Since a disability retirement is completely different from a regular retirement, and TurboTax does not address this type of retirement, I am flummoxed as to how to proceed. I also prefer NOT to pay someone else to do my taxes which I have done for the past 17 years.
