Retirement tax questions
This would actually be reported as contract and straddle 1256 contract in the contract and straddles section listed in the investment income section in Turbo Tax. If this is from a options or commodities dealer, this reporting is unsupported by Turbo Tax. To report, go to federal>wages and income>investment income>contracts and straddles.
As you navigate through the program, you will leave the election section blank if you don't know if you made an election or not in this regard. Then you would proceed until you reach a screen that asks if you have a gain or loss on contracts. Here I suggest using the amount reported in Box 11 since it is an aggregate total of your gain or loss on your contracts.
