HSA
This is an informational notice about your AT&T Health Savings Account (HSA). Due to an administrative error, the Q4 Enhanced Company Contribution that was contributed to your HSA on December 16, 2022 was higher than the amount you were eligible for under the terms of the AT&T Flexible Spending Account Plan. In order to correct the error, the excess Q4 Enhanced Company Contribution was removed from your HSA on or around February 1, 2023.
As a result of the adjustment, AT&T Payroll will be issuing you a corrected 2022 W-2 (Form W-2C) as soon as administratively as possible on April 30, 2023. The correction to your W-2 will entail updating the amount designated on Code W – Employer Contributions of box 12. No updates are needed to your taxable wages on box 1 of the W-2 as a result of this correction. For a status update on the delivery of your Form W-2c, you should contact HROneStop at [phone number removed] on or after the estimated delivery timeframe. Please consult a tax professional regarding how your taxes may be impacted.
