- Click update next to IRA contributions in deductions
- Make sure that you and your spouse are checked as having contributed to an IRA, continue
- Answer if this is a repayment of distribution.
- Then enter how much "you" or the main tax payer contributed, continue
- Answer If you recharacterized the IRA to a Roth
- Answer if covered by plan at work for you and spouse
- Excess contributions?
- Non-deductible Contributions?
- Repayment
- Spouse's contribution.
- Continue the interview
