Retirement tax questions
Although I have yet to be able to duplicate TurboTax not letting you re-enter your Social Security information, if you are having the issue, you can follow these steps. If using TurboTax Desktop:
- Click Forms in the Right-Hand Corner
- Click Social Sec
- Enter the additional information needed
- Click Step-by-Step in the right-hand corner
If using TurboTax Online, you will need to delete the form and then go back to enter Social Security again. To do this, follow these steps:
- Click Tax Tools
- Click Tools
- Click Delete A Form
- Select Delete, Social Security Benefits Worksheet
- Continue With My Return
- Click Wage and Income
- Scroll down to Retirement and Social Security, Click Show More
- Click Start next to Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099)
