Traditional IRA
Hello,
I am trying to back track some information so I can gather old records. As I logged into my TIA CREF account, I noticed I have about $2000 in traditional IRA :(.
I remember vividly years ago when I was informed by Turbotax that my AGI was over the limit and that the contribution made became nondeductible traditional IRA. Is this something Turbotax would inform the filer?
If I go back and look for past years (used Turbotax), do I need to look for Form 8606?
All my contributions have been to Roth but I don't know how those got into the Traditional IRA (maybe a rookie mistake). My work had always offered 403b but I never max out until recent years.
Thanks,
TT
