Thank you for your answer. We are both non-resident aliens, I am a part-time graduate student (F-1 visa), and she has an F-2 visa (connected to mine). She can not work or have any income in the USA. Can I use the NRA if I am not a resident also? Does she need to fill separately? We are asking because if she needs to fill, we need to apply for an ITIN. Sorry for the lack of information before.
