Retirement tax questions
There are two things here that you may be referring to.
- Your 2021 information didn't transfer onto the 2022 tax return.
- You may not have chosen a previous return to have carried over
- If you didn't, you won't have the previous year data, nor your personal information.
- This is not a problem because the previous year return is only informational, but it may take a while to post all the data.
- You expected the Social Security information to be posted for 2022.
- You will need to post a new SSA-1099 every year as @VolvoGirl stated above.
- If the description information is missing, it is because you didn't select a 2021 tax return to be carried over.
