I called and gave a list of items in the drop-down menu for tax tracking on Quickbooks, and CalPERS informed me they are not any of those items. They stated they are a 401A Deffed Benefit Contribution. There are no items in the "tax tracking type" that match what CalPERS stated. I will see if I can get someone to look at my Quickbooks, and maybe they can assist. I am concerned if it is in the wrong box on the W-2 it will affect the taxable income and returns for our employees. I appreciate the suggestions~
