Retirement tax questions
Thank you for finding that thread for me, I tried to enter it as instructed but am put off by the semantics. Here is the advice you forwarded:
“Answer No when asked if you received a Form 1099-R in 2021, if you did not receive the form”
My question is I DID receive a form in 2021 BUT it was FOR 2020. I did NOT receive a form this year for 2021. Is this the same thing? In other words, I only received ONE form for the original distribution I took in 2020.
also, when entered as instructed, it still tells me I need to revisit my 1099-R section which says “Needs Review”. What am I doing wrong?
thanks in advance for your help!
