This is entered under Interest income. To enter go to the Federal Return and Income and Expenses, then
- Go to Interest and Dividends and
- Click on the "Start" button next to Interest on 1099-INT.
- Answer "Yes" to the question "Did you receive any Interest Income;
- On the next screen choose "I'll type it myself"
- In the box "received from" enter IRS and in Box 1 enter the amount of interest.
- Proceed to answer the rest of the questions.
