Here is how to generate a 8915-F form in desktop if you did prepare your previous return in Turbo tax.
- Federal Taxes>wages and income
- Retirement Plans and Social Security>IRA, 401K>pension plan Withdrawals (1099R)
- First question asks if you received a 1099R in 2021, say no
- Then it asks you if you took a disaster distribution in 2020, say yes.
- Then it asks if you took a Corona Virus Distribution, you will say yes, you took one in 2020.
- Now you need your 2020 8915-E to fill in the information that it asks next.
- Once you complete this, your 8915-F will be generated into your return populated with the correct information.
