I followed these steps exactly and it is still not working for me. 'No' I didn't get a 1099-R in 2021, 'Yes' I took a disaster distribution before 2021, 'Yes' I took a 2020 qualified distribution, 'checkbox' COVID related, filled out the forms twice, one for each myself and my wife (we both took distributions, but me from IRA (so line 17) and her from pension (so line 9)).
Nothing shows up on my preview 1040 in lines 4b or 5b and nothing is added to the income section.
