Retirement tax questions

Make sure that when you entered her 1099R, that you entered it's her 1099R and not yours.

  • Go to federal>income and expenses>Retirement Plans and Social Security>IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R).
  • Select edit next to her 1099R. First screen should ask Who does this 1099-R belong to? Be sure her name is checked.
