Retirement tax questions
You will need to delete the 1099-R that is causing the problem. Here is how to find it:
- Select Federal on the left side menu.
- Under Wages & Income, find Retirement Plans and Social Security.
- Expand the section and find IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R)
- Select Start or Update to the right.
- On the screen titled, Here's your 1099-R info, look for the 1099-R below the gray line.
- Look for a trash can to right of that entry. Select the trash can and confirm that you want to delete.
