Retirement tax questions
Oh, there is something in Box 11. You didn't say that in your original post. Does box 1a + box 11 = $1902?
Box 1b is already in box 1a, as is box 5. Box 11 is an additional amount for tax-exempt dividends. Box 12 is already in box 11.
Unfortunately it very difficult for us to guess what is going in your return unless you get look at the actual form 1040 and tell us what numbers you see on what lines. Even then we might not be able to figure it out.
If you have no other investment income, you should see the following on your form 1040
- line 3b should 1099-div box 1a
- line 3a should be 1099-div box 1b
- line 2a should be 1099-div box 11
- line 7 should be 1099-div line 2a

This also could be a question for TT support who might be able to get access to your tax return. The volunteers in this public internet forum don't have that access.
