Retirement tax questions
Before we assume it is a bug in the program let's try the steps below:
- Delete any reference to the SSA-1099 and then close out of TurboTax, close the browser window and then open a new browser window.
- After you get back into TurboTax, go to the Federal section; click on Income and Expenses;
- Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security and then click on the dropdown arrow and
- Select Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099) and
- Enter your SSA-1099.
If simply signing out and opening a new browser window does not work. Shut down your computer and then restart and then go back into TurboTax and follow the steps above.
