Amending w/ 2021-1099R tax due should not cause a refund if I see the $10,200 unemployed reduction already on Schedule 1 that was filed in July 2021?
I was unemployed all of 2020, learned cannot contribute with “unearned Income”, contributions interest returned to me 03/05/21
01/13/22 got “2021 1099 R” taxable amount $778 (interest), TurboTax Desktop says must amend my 2020, ok using my 2020 CD, I agree owe 10% for $78, but now says a refund of 1.5k
This is caused at clicking No at “Did you get an extra refund after you filed”, no other option but to click yes which wants to know how much, no refund received or expected
I think this is wrong?
Because I already got the 10,200 reduction of unemployment on schedule 1 row 8 UCE when I filed in July 2021? yes extension from waiting on IDES 1099 G
