Make sure that the same pension income is not entered in any other section such as Wages and Salaries section.
Follow these steps to see if an extra 1099-R exists:
- Go to Tax Tools On the left panel
- Click Tools
- In the Tools Center, click Delete a form
- From the Review Form List, check to see if there is an extra copy of the 1099-R form
- If not, consider deleting the 1099-R form and re-enter it
