Can someone confirm and point me to specific section of the Consolidated Appropriations Act that allows 180 day extension for Covid related IRA distributions in 2021?
My IRA company says that the act only talks about extension for disaster-related distributions but not specifically for Covid-related.
I want to be sure I am able to do the Covid-related distribution this month before 180 day window closes and that I won't be penalized and that it would be treated same as covid distributions in 2020. I want to make sure the Act specifically extends last years Care Act's Covid related penalty-free IRA distributions.
Here is the text of the bill:

Thanks
