Retirement tax questions
TT cannot do that. If you were employed, your employer submits it to the SSA. If you are self-employed, the IRS does that. It is not unusual for this to take several months, or even up to a year. Per the Social Security Admin:
If the earnings missing from your Social Security record
are for the current year or last year, you don’t need to
worry. Because these earnings are recent, we may
not have recorded them yet. They should appear on a
later Statement.
