If Robert had a distribution in the prior year, it will carry over to this year in TurboTax. You can delete this 1099-R from your return.
To do so, please follow the instructions below:
- Open your return in TurboTax.
- Search for 1099-R with the magnifying glass tool on the top of the page.
- Select the Jump to 1099-R link in the search results.
- On the retirement distribution summary screen, delete the 1099-R with the trash can icon.
