It won't ask for his social security individually. To enter his information:
- Log into turbo tax
- Go to federal>income and expenses
- Retirement plans and Social Security>show more
- Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099)>start
- When you arrive at the page where you record the amounts of the SSA, there will two columns showing your name and his name, record the amount under his name
